Cathay Pacific Marco Polo Club Report: Deny

From Delta SkyMiles Silver
To Cathay Pacific Marco Polo Club Silver

Emailed MPC and sent prior 12 month travel records on Delta and proof of Delta silver medallion status. I have already signed up for MPC and wanted to go to Silver. Their initial response was...

"We are delighted to learn that you will be flying with Cathay Pacific a lot more frequently in the future and would be happy to review your travel activities to see if we are able to make any special arrangements to help upgrade your Marco Polo Club membership status faster.

It may be useful to know that a tier status review is not only based on your other airline's frequent flyer membership tier status. We review tier status based on a variety of factors of which your past and future travel activities on Cathay Pacific / Cathay Dragon are of much importance.

Therefore, in addition to the information already provided in your previous email, please also send us in a return email the following information as .jpg, .bmp or .tif files with a total file size of less than 6 MB so that we can better assess your tier status eligibility:

- Copies of boarding passes or travel dates and flight numbers of the flights you have taken with Cathay Pacific or Cathay Dragon within the past 12 months

- Future travel schedule on Cathay Pacific / Cathay Dragon with booking reference / confirmed flight details"

Since I didn't have any upcoming flights on Cathay Pacific, I think I was denied the status match. My plan is to email again once I have confirmed travel in the future.
