May 19, 2018 Sent a message via twotter requesting a status match. Showed 1 year of activity flying to South America from USA twice a month with AA as an executive platinum member. 50% of my trips were on LATAM flights. Twitter team created a case # for me, I got an email requesting my executive platinum card, AA statement and proof of my last Latam flight which was 2 months ago.
Got this message via email less than 6 hours after I sent the requested info via email:
We regret to inform you that we are no longer granting Status Match.
This has nothing to do with you as a client; it is just that we recently carried out an overhaul of our Frequent Flyer Program that ended this procedure.
