I was advised by the Sinagpore Airlines Contact Centre to email through my Status Match Request.
I am a Virgin Australia PLATINUM Member but fly more with Singapore Airlines and other Star Alliance Members. Therefore I would like to switch to Status match with SilverKris so I can be loyal to Singapore airlines.
I have attached the following supporting documents:
1) Virgin Australia Platinum Card
2) Singapore Airlines Status Match Form which includes my SilverKris membership number
3) Yearly flight record history
4) Upcoming bookings with STAR ALLIANCE MEMBERS

Thank you for your email of 27 January 2018 to Singapore Airlines regarding status match.
We appreciate your interest in Singapore Airlines and our KrisFlyer Elite Gold programme.
As a matter of the KrisFlyer membership programme policy, our members have to accumulate 50,000 Elite Miles to qualify for KrisFlyer Elite Gold status. These Elite miles can only be earned when members travel on Singapore Airlines and SilkAir.
We regret that we are unable to grant Elite Gold status out of fairness to our members who have to qualify based on the above-mentioned criteria.
We are deeply sorry we don't have better news, and humbly seek your kind understanding in the matter.
