Korean refused to consider any status match. Here is the office answer they've sent:

With regard to your inquiry, we regret to inform you that we are not able to provide you with elite SKYPASS club levels due to Korean Air elite members’ fairness and equity issues, and also manage stable frequent flyer program operation. Additionally, the other reason was we could not offer any exceptions for certain customers.
Since SKYPASS members (including high miler passengers), follow its policy and restrictions, we could not change its membership status depending on each passenger’s personal conditions.
We regret that our service did not meet your expectations on this case and we seek your generous understanding of it.
