I booked a flight with emirates and created a skywards account with blue status.
After that, I completed the contact form with my request for status match by attaching a copy of my card and the flight record of the last 6 months.
The next day they sent me an email asking me to confirm my address and my phone number and saying that the process would now be reviewed by the sales team.
Two days later when I logged into the emirates' application I noticed that my status had already been updated to silver. Confirmation arrived by email a week later.
