I'm a systems engineer who travels constantly around the country and have obtained MVP Gold 75K consecutively for the past 4 years. I resided in Seattle WA, and my company had me relocate to Newark NJ, since the majority of our projects are located on the eastern States. Since United has a hub in Newark NJ, it was determined by my company, that I had to fly United or another airline that fell within a reasonable price. I found out that United Airlines was running a Status Match promotion and I submitted my MVP Gold 75k credentials on their website.
A week letter I received an email from United Airlines stating that they had determined there was a fraudulent or suspicious aspects of the credentials I provided and my request had been declined. If I believed this assessment was in error, I had the option of contacting United Airlines Corporate Security.
I immediately reached out to them, submitted extra information, including my Alaska username and password, and they stated I would be hearing back within the 30 days. It's already been over 30 days, and I've had not heard back.
