The upgrade is effective immediately. Please allow a few weeks for the new Gold card to arrive via postal mail.

The Marriott Platinum Elite upgrades are processed via registration link (mrhertzstatus.com/MemberStat). However, I can advise that the Marriott Platinum Elite upgrade would also be a Five Star upgrade.
