I had a long haul flight booked with CX so I decided to write them to ask if I could have a status match to Gold, knowing that they normally only give to Silver.
I wrote the mail requesting a status match to email@example.com
, attaching my A3 gold card, flight history, and future itinerary with CX. Soon they replied me saying that after I complete the long haul flight with CX, my status will be directly updated to Silver (I have Green now). I got upgraded to Silver after the flights.
