After a dozen years with 1K status, I fell short in 2022 and earned (on my merits) with Gold Status. I called UA Mileage Plus with the goal of advancing to Platinum status. The agent taking my call reviewed my travel history, and offered to award me 1K status for Feb-23 thru Jan-24.
