I had requested a status match because SAS is changing from Star Alliance to SkyTeam and I travel with SAS very often both professionally and privately. Unfortunately, the match was denied because there are strict guidelines for status matches within SAS and there can be no exceptions to this. Currently, only Miles & More, Miles & Smiles, Finnair Plus and BA Executive Club are matched to SAS EB. However, it is positive that the request was answered super quickly and in a friendly manner.
