They denied my request as I hold a silver membership with Delta ( a sky team partner). They said: Dear Ajay Thank you for your interest in our status match programme. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a status match to members holding a membership with one of our Skyteam airline partners. This is because their Flying Club programmes offer the opportunity to earn miles when flying on Virgin Atlantic.
