Greetings from Air India!
This is in reference to your concern regarding the Status match.
Apology for the unintentional delay in response.
We would like to inform you that, according to Air India norms and policies, status match between two Airlines is not permissible. So, we regret to inform you that, we are not able to match your Etihad Airways Gold status with your Air India Frequent Flyer membership account status.
To get Silver, Golden or Platinum Club status, you have to attain the qualifying Tier Status Points in the Air India membership account.
To attain Silver membership status, a minimum of 15,000 tier points are required including 4,500 tier points earned through Air India flights or 30 flights including a minimum of 4 Air India flights.
Additionally, to attain Golden membership status, a minimum of 30,000 tier points are required including 9,000 tier points earned through Air India flights or 60 flights including a minimum of 8 Air India flights.
To attain Platinum membership status, a minimum of 45,000 tier points are required including 13,500 tier points earned through Air India flights or 90 flights including a minimum of 12 Air India flights.
After reviewing your Flying Returns account, we have noted that you have accumulated zero tier points. To reach the "Golden Edge" status, you are required to earn the tier points as listed in the above-mentioned points.
