I tried to match LH Senator Status to an old EuroBonus account on 22 August, but was denied with motivation that the EuroBonus account, which I had not used for quite a while, was not fully active. I was advised by Customer Service to open a brand-new EuroBonus account and to match to that account instead, but was denied again, this time with the argument that I had a pending application! An impossible Catch 22 sitaution! I have tried several times since the to contact EuroBonus by telephone and email to fix this situtation, but I still do not have a proper reply. Very disappointing as I have flown a lot by SAS and acquired Lifetime Senator Status on Lufthansa, largely thanks to being a loyal SAS customer.
