After submitting the Status Match Challenge request, you are required to take the "Activate Flight" within the next 90-days. The Challenge period is from that Activate Flight (first flight) for 120 days. If you already took United flight this year, you can request to count it, only when you submit the request. And the first flight this year becomes the Activate Flight. It said if they approved it, you would receive the Trial status within 5 through 7 business days. If you didn't request to count your previous flight when you submit, you cannot request it after the submission. The qualification for the real "Match" until the end of this year is 10PQF(Premier Qualifying Flights) and 3400PQP(Premier Qualifying Points) for Gold. You need to be careful that Basic Economy is NOT counted for PQF. I was given the Trial Gold status after 3days from the Activate Flight.
