Used the status match page on the United website, but it simply wouldn't accept any documentation I could get from Virgin's website or app proving my status. After speaking to United via both chat and on the phone I was told this is because there is no status expiry date displayed on my membership card or documentation. However, Virgin no longer present this information anywhere, and only state that I would need to earn XXX number of points by 31st December 2025. No matter how much I tried to explain this to United, they would not accept it, so I gave up.
