After taking a flight with Turkish Airlines to Istanbul, I submitted a second request along with my flight history from the past two months. This time the request was approved, and I was granted entry into a 4-month challenge. To complete the challenge, I need to take one international flight, which will extend my status by an additional 8 months — bringing the total to 1 year. To earn a second year of status, I need to accumulate 15,000 status miles.
