The first status match request was rejected because there was no mileage credit record in Miles&Smiles, but after earning one mileage credit, I reapplied and was granted ELITE status. The first 4 months of your Elite membership will be considered a trial period. During this time, you are required to take at least one international flight with Turkish Airlines and ensure that it is automatically credited to your account. 2. At the end of the trial period, if your membership account includes at least one international flight flown with Turkish Airlines, your Elite membership will be extended for another 8 months (i.e., remaining valid for a total of 1 year from the date of the match). 3. In the first year of your Elite membership, if you achieve a total of 15,000 Status Miles on your Turkish Airlines flights, your membership will be extended for an additional year (i.e., remaining valid for a total of 2 years from the date of the match).
