Alaska Airlines offers a status match program as a way to obtain MVP and MVP Gold status (but not MVP Gold 75K). In general they will match your current status level with a competing firm to the equivalent level within their Mileage Plan program. They do not require payment or an accumulation of miles with them. To match, send the following information: - Scanned copy of current membership card with competing airline - Screenshot of current statement with competing airline - Copy of drivers license to prove identity Email to: elite.flyer@alaskaair.com Or send via postal mail to: Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan PO Box 24948 - SEAGT Seattle WA 98124-0948 Note that the Alaska Airlines status match can only be done once. Also if the match is done before November 1st, it lasts until the end of the current calendar year. If it is done November 1st onward, it includes the next calendar year as well. (So if anywhere close to November, it pays to wait)
