Sent an email to SMSCEliteFaxes.Delta@delta.com with my statement and a photo of my valid gold card. Was challenged for 90 days to Gold, without physical card and no lounges access. Must fly 16000 MQM or 20 MQS to stay gold. I received this message: Dear Dr. XXXXX, Thank you for enrolling in the SkyMiles Medallion® Status Match Challenge. Your elite status match request has been approved, and we would like to welcome you to the SkyMiles Medallion program. Medallion status offers a host of benefits, including Priority Boarding, Complimentary Medallion Upgrades, baggage fee waivers, Preferred Seating and more. Your Gold status is now valid for the next 90 days and will print on your future boarding passes. To keep your Medallion status through February 28, 2015, you will need to complete the following requirements within the 90-day timeframe: Fly 16,000 Medallion Qualification Miles OR 20 Medallion Qualification Segments on flights operated by Delta or Delta Connection®.
