China Southern USA Office has launched a campaign to status match customers outside Mainland China case by case. Essentially this is for invited/corporate customers but you may still have a try by sending inquiries to czmarketing@csair.us to trigger the process. The campaign is said to last until 2017/Dec/31 (but will definitely be terminated before that) while if matched the validity of card would be 2019/Feb/28.
General Rules:
ST EP, SA *G, OW E, OW S and other airlines with highest level of membership status -> CZ Gold (ST EP)
ST E, SA *S, OW R and other airlines with second to highest level of membership status -> CZ Silver (ST E)
