National's instructions say to upload a membership card or screenshot to their status match page. They say the upload should include your name, status and expiration date of the status.
I didn't have a physical card and couldn't find a screen anywhere on Marriott's site with my full name let alone the status expiration date.
(I find it very annoying that businesses have to be so chummy these days: on every page they display just my first name in a huge font: HI, SO-AND-SO!!!)
So I just uploaded a screen with my first name, status and number of points and National granted the status in a few hours on a weekend.
